At Apollo's Lens Photography, we believe every moment holds a story worth capturing. Founded in 2019 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Apollo's Lens was born from the creative vision of Alice M. Randall. With a background in Industrial Electronic Technology, Alice made a bold and passionate shift into photography, combining her technical expertise with an artistic eye to create visually striking and emotionally resonant images. Alice also has an assistant by the name of Kiara Barbin. With our two towers of creativity combined, we create magic. Specializing in portrait, sports, and modeling/event photography, Apollo's Lens is dedicated to delivering high-quality, impactful photos that reflect the individuality of each client. Whether it's a professional headshot, graduation pictures, a dynamic action shot on the field, or a bold modeling portfolio, we approach every session with a personalized touch and a commitment to excellence. Alice is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art with a concentration in Graphic Design, further sharpening her craft and staying attuned to the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in the industry. Her dedication to lifelong learning fuels the studio’s continuous growth and innovation. More than just a photography service, Apollo's Lens is a collaborative space where clients are encouraged to bring their vision to life. We value creativity, communication, and connection—because great photography isn’t just about taking pictures; it’s about telling your story in a way that feels authentic and timeless. As we continue to grow, we welcome your feedback and ideas. Our goal is to not only meet your expectations but to exceed them, capturing moments that you'll cherish for a lifetime. Let Apollo’s Lens help you see yourself in a new light.
The name "Apollo's Lens" came to be in a very hard-thought process. Many clients assume that the name is a possible nickname for Alice but it is not. The name is derived from the mythical "God of light" named Apollo. It is a play on how for photography, light hits your mirror or sensor in order to capture the image. In a way with photography, you are a god of light in your own right. You have to manipulate light to compliment your subject, without the light, your image would not be possible.
